Tonight almost didn't happen. And you should be thankful that it's not another nothing. But tonight and all of today has been less than cool. I hover between artificially happy and crazy/angry. I've cursed more times in the past four days than I have all year. This is what the IRS has done to me. This is what I have to say to the IRS: Your days are numbered you fucking pricks.

So what is this picture about? This picture is based on something I saw yesterday. It's the same car as the other day except for the skin. The skin was made in Corel Draw and was a rough sketch at best. With improvement, the car will look a bunch better. But the one thing that I put in this is that cars have small curvy lines of detail. For one, the lights slant towards the center of the car as shown. Secondly, there are distinquishable lines for doors, the hood, windows, etc. So I added that. My lesson is that a rough draft should NOT be used for more than five minutes. If you're messing with the texture coordinates for half an hour like I did, it's not the model's coords' fault, it's the skin. Simply move the thing you need moved in your paint program and viola. Good skins are made not by awful stretching of the skin, but rather flat skinning of a good curvy skin. You can see how sucky this looks compared to last night's car. Duh. I'm a physicist, not an artist. But some would say that I'm an artist, not a physicist. I can't win, so tonight I sleep for five hours and wake up in a good mood ready to slack off all day.
