Making of Javantea's Fate 317

Another 1.5 days, another MoHM. I'm late because I stayed up until 5 AM helping my friend clean his office and put in a shelf. Hanging out in the early hours is cool, but it is hard on one's nerves. There is a police officer, T. Bacon (no joke) who is a nice guy. He stopped my friend and I for a headlight and was very nice about it. I hate to admit that without thinking of it, I said, "Thank you, Officer Bacon." That probably took a year off my life. I was just trying to be nice. It's nice to know that my friend doesn't have any warrants out for him. You never know when you live in the city if a person you meet is a trustworthy citizen =P. There are thousands of warrants out and the person you're sitting next to may be -- a criminal! Bleh, who gives a fsck? I have proof that there exists at least one nice officer in the SPD. I also have proof that there are at least a dozen fascists in the SPD.

Greetings. I missed one day of MoHM because I was kicking so much arse yesterday. I even forgot what I did. But I found out. And today's lesson is how to find out how much arse you kicked. It's not a perfect method, but it gets it done almost every time. Let's say I forgot what I did yesterday. I know that you did a lot of work on the computer (in fact, I didn't leave your chair 15 hours of the day). I can guess what directory I worked in. See below:

Good night. I just got home @ 3 AM having walked ~6 miles in 1.7 hours. Why? For techno. I went to Liquid Lounge and had a good night. I danced quite a bit. It was fun, but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't gone. If you live in or around Seattle, be there or be square. Tuesday is electronica, by the way. I stayed too long and missed my bus, that's why I had to walk home. I've done it before a few times, so it's not too bad. What it does tell me is that Seattle sleeps after 2 AM. I'm appauled to note that people who are up after 2 AM are driven (literally). I say that anarchists should take back the streets after 2 AM. The fucking rest of the city isn't using them. That's it! Reclaim the Streets, everynight at 2 AM. Meet at Westlake, march to SCCC, then to the University, then back to Westlake for speeches and hummus with pita bread. Take the power back!

Making of Javantea's Fate 314

Today's picture is a second attempt at drawing my friend Dave. I didn't have a reference when I drew it since my friend Dave is in the Navy and I haven't heard from him in a few years. Dave is a great guy and although I might not recognize him with a buzz cut, he's probably still a great guy. Drawing people you know is nice because you get a feeling of satifaction saying: yes, that's my friend. You can possibly even show them the image and they add to your satisfaction saying: yes, that's a decent representation of me. But moreover with my video game, I will be able to explain this person's personality by representing them in the video game. Yesterday I talked about doing the same for Gally of Gunnm. I like doing that because it gives me things to base the details of my fiction on. Most of my characters have no one correlating real life person. Most of them are a collection of my original understanding of situations I have seen and what I decide will happen in the fictional circumstance.
